John Daniel 
Associate Professor of Trumpet at Lawrence University, boasting a rich musical education including degrees from the University of Michigan, University of Iowa, and Ball State University under renowned mentors like David Greenhoe and Armando Ghitalla. With an illustrious career, John has held principal positions in orchestras across the United States, performed in prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center, and collaborated with jazz luminaries such as Lionel Hampton, Phil Woods, and Ernie Watts. As a composer, his jazz CD "A Calling" and work on the Grammy-nominated "Karel Husa Trumpet Concertos" have solidified his reputation as a versatile and accomplished musician.

Dane Richeson 
Professor of Music at Lawrence University Conservatory of Music in Appleton, Wisconsin since 1984, is celebrated as a versatile performer in the percussive arts. From solo marimbist to jazz drummer, he has collaborated with an array of artists including Bobby McFerrin, Roscoe Mitchell, and Lyle Mays. His passion for global music traditions has led him to immerse in Ghana, Brazil, and Cuba, enriching his dynamic performances worldwide.

Steve Grismore
With over 55 years of guitar mastery, Steve Grismore is a sought-after musician in eastern Iowa. Equally adept in traditional jazz, avant-garde improvisation, classic rock, and blues, he brings a rich musical tapestry to his performances. As a seasoned educator, he has shaped generations of musicians at the University of Iowa and Kirkwood Community College, leaving a lasting impact on Iowa's musical landscape.
